Almost all porcelain snuff boxes that you will encounter are from Germany or France. Germany was one of the first countries to successfully mass produce porcelain products. Meissen porcelain snuff boxes are always valuable, as are boxes than can be authenticated as being Sevres. There are a handful of other factories that made porcelain snuff boxes, but Meissen and Sevres are the most important.
Antique porcelain snuff boxes will have a painted scene on them. There is usually some gold or silver metals work to hold the porcelain panels to frame. If you have some questions about your snuff box, just ask. We would be happy to help.
